Second Trimester Goals:

We are well on the way to improve personal stamina and grow independently as we proceed into the second part of the Kindergarten year. The morning literacy and math rotation buzz with the students attending different stations and focusing on that activity as they complete their responsibilities with increasing skills.  Sight word wall continues to challenge as the students learn decoding skills and strategies to read, write and spell the list correctly.

HOMEWORK:  This trimester all students have a leveled reading book that goes home nightly in a small zippered pouch. They are responsible for completing our class reading strategies using different colored crayons.  During the day these books are shared read with peers during centers and with reading buddies on Fridays.
